Hello and welcome to UbuntuBasics 
I intend to update this site with short tutorials and explanations of anything Ubuntu/Linux related. Ubuntu is not Windows, and quite often it is the small differences that confuse us. So most of these tutorials will fall into the category of “I wish someone had told me that when I was learning!”.
